Ilhabela or "Beauty Island" is located approximately 125 miles from the city of São Paulo, on the southeastern coast of Brazil. From March 16th to November 30th, every Sunday from 5:00 am to 11:00 am our tour guides will be waiting for you at the arrivals gate of the GRU international airport in São Paulo. You can also use a helicopter to get here faster.

        The island's history begins in 1502 when the Portuguese Gonçalo Coelho and the Italian Américo Vespúcio comes to make the map of south america that belonged to Portugal under the Treaty of Tordesilhas. During the colonial period the main economic activity was sugar mills that produced sugar and cachaça (alcoholic drink used to make the Brazilian caipirinha) from sugar cane. And since this times we have in many beaches the settlements where still leaves the traditional fisherman's people, know like "caiçara people".

       Today Ilhabela is one of the most sought after destinations in Brazil, even for cruise ships. There are 40 beaches, some still deserted and more than 300 waterfalls to you know. In fall and spring the temperature varies between 64 Fº and 90 Fº, and in the winter between 55 Fº and 77 Fº. And in the winter, from June to August, we have the humpback whale watching season.

Itinerary:

 - Sunday: Arrival at the airport and transfer to Ilhabela. Upon arrival in Ilhabela we offer a welcome lunch with one traditional "caiçara" meal, and then a city tour.

 - From Monday to Friday you will enjoy the tours chosen by yourself, taste the local gastronomy and learn about the local history and culture. And all shuttle to dinners and tours are included.

 - Saturday: After breakfast we leave the hotel for São Paulo, where we will visit the São Paulo city museum and take a Sightseeing Tour passing by Ibirapuera Park, Independence Park, Paulista Avenue, old City Market, Sé Square and Cathedral and downtown, and in the way have a farewell lunch before drop you back at the São paulo International airport around 05:00 pm.​​
